Unpacking
1. Place the bed in its bag, with the Tatkraft logo facing upward, in the designated spot.
2. Release all velcro fasteners on the bag.
3. Fold the upper flap of the bag to the left onto the floor.
4. Lift the bed from the head or foot end and pull the bag out from the side under the bed.
5. Remove all velcro cable ties (marked in red) and corrugated cardboard edge protection angles from the frame.
For possible re-packing, we recommend you to keep these cables.
7. In the zoomed area you can see the tension lock. It can be found at all ends of the insert strip, a total of four times.
It ensures that the rolled slatted frame remains taut and does not slip. For it to function properly, care must be taken to ensure that the cotton webbing is guided at a tension below these locks.

Packing
1. Make sure your rolled slatted frame is properly seated.
Then fix the rolled slatted frame to the frame. Use the velcro cable ties that were supplied.
Then place the bed on its side.
2. Spread out the bag, with the Tatkraft logo on the back, on the floor.
3. Now place the bed sideways in this position on the spread out bag.
Make sure that the bed with the slatted frame is resting in the direction of the larger flap.
4. Now pull the largest flap of the bag over the top of the bed lying sideways and fasten all possible velcro fasteners together.
5. Now pull the last side of the bag up to the top edge of the bed lying transversely.
Make sure that all velcro parts are cleanly and firmly glued together.
6. Please place the bed back on its feet immediately.
The rolled slatted frame causes an imbalance and can cause the bed to tip over when lying on its side.
Please make sure that if the bed is transported on its side, you position it with the slatted frame side towards the wall.

Care instructions
Colorless variant
Must be protected from moisture.
More humidity in the room causes faster patina formation. When cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and then immediately remove the moisture with a dry cloth without delay.
Black lacquered variant
Protect from high humidity. Patina formation is avoided. When cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and then remove the moisture promptly with a dry cloth. Handle carefully: sensitivity to scratches is present.
Safety instructions
Metal as building material
The electrical conductivity of the metal from which the frame is made is very high. Any contact with electricity is immediately transmitted and can be life-threatening. Therefore, all cables in the vicinity of the bed must be checked regularly for breaks.
Storage of the jute bag
The custom-made jute bag in which the bed is delivered is a natural product and highly flammable. It must be kept away from heat sources or other sources of fire.
